The Tusitala Collective
We are a new wave of Pacific storytellers—rooted in ancestral knowledge, fuelled by creativity, and ready to lead.
The Tusitala Collective is a creative movement for Pasifika youth aged 16–25 in West Auckland who are passionate about using story—through writing, art, performance, media, and more—as a way to uplift community and inspire change.
Hosted by Tapasā, the collective offers monthly workshops with different guest facilitators to grow your creative practice, advice from established Pacific artists, and potential paid opportunities to tell Pasifika community stories that matter. You’ll build deep connections with other young creatives, develop cultural and creative confidence, and present your work at an end-of-year showcase with community and industry partners.
